Mississippi residents baffled by mashed potato mystery

Residents in Jackson, Mississippi have been left baffled after bowls of mashed potatoes began mysteriously appearing on their cars, porches and mailboxes. A local said she noticed a bowl of the fluffy dish on her car’s windshield one morning. “I was grossed out by it,” she said. Others have had similar experiences but no one knows why. One theory has it that many of those who have found bowls have connections to a local Christian university.
Man sues parents for throwing out porn collection
A man is suing his parents, alleging that they threw out his vast collection of porn and sex toys. Charlie, from the US state of Michigan, claims the porn stash his parents destroyed was extremely valuable, containing rare and out-of-print blue movies. He is suing for $86,822.16 in damages. His father has compared Charlie’s porn passion with addiction to crack cocaine.

Water dig uncovers 3,000 year old skeletons
A water works dig in London has uncovered Iron Age treasure and 3,000-year-old skeletons. The Thames Water project to ease pressure on a stream in Oxfordshire has led to the discoveries of 26 human skeletons. An archaeologist says the findings provide a glimpse into the beliefs and superstitions of people living in Oxfordshire before the Roman conquest.
