A man has used a cheese-grater to remove a tattoo, a week after having it inked. The 21-year-old, from Mendoza, Argentina, said: “It hurt and bled a lot. I had to bandage it a lot and apply disinfectant. A week later I went to the hospital and I had a tetanus vaccination.” As the Daily Mail says, “Not a grate idea.”

Woman gored by bison in date de ja vu

A man took a woman he was dating to Utah State Park where he was gored by a bison earlier this year, only to see her attacked by a bison too. “I thought my situation was just a freak accident,” Kyler Bourgeous told The Washington Post. “But apparently, they're a lot more aggressive than I ever thought.” The woman bled from her left thigh and broke her right ankle.

Fish robots use farts to leap out of sea

A flying fish robot uses farts to propel itself out of the water. The robot, developed by a team at Imperial College London, might be used to monitor reefs or ice floes. “As a locomotion principle, this aquatic jump-gliding is also used by flying fish,” said one of the team. “That’s partially where the inspiration comes from.”
