Russia to open nuclear-powered hotel on the Moon

Have you always wanted to holiday in a nuclear-powered hotel on the Moon? Thanks to a Russian company, you may be able to do just that within nine years. The firm is designing a hotel base that can touch down and dig itself into a 130-foot hole to avoid the radiation on the lunar surface. Each guest will be allowed a 10m square cabin and the trip will set you back around £15 million - so you might want to start saving now.

Politician re-elected despite orgy video embarrassment

A Hungarian politician was left red-faced when a film of him at an orgy on a luxury yacht went viral - but it didn’t stop him from being re-elected. Former Olympic gymnast Zsolt Borkai managed a narrow victory to secure another term as mayor of Gyor, western Hungary’s biggest city. However, he has quit the conservative Fidesz party.

Cigar-shaped UFO hovers over Baltimore

UFO enthusiasts are buzzing after a cigar-shaped object was seen hovering over Baltimore. The cylindrical apparition was caught on camera lurking in the skies above the Maryland city - one of a spate of sightings of snake-like UFOs in American skies in recent months.
