Drunk man takes $1,635 Uber ride

A New Jersey man visiting West Virginia reportedly paid $1,635 (£1,185) for an Uber trip after drunkenly ordering a ride home instead of to his nearby accommodation. Kenny Bachman told local media he woke up two hours into the 300-mile trip, but continued the journey because he didn’t know where he was. Bachman challenged the fare, but was forced to pay. He also rated the driver five stars.
Chinese condoms ‘too small’ for Zimbabwe
A Chinese condom manufacturer is considering making its product in varying sizes, after Zimbabwean Health Minister David Parirenyatwa complained that they are too small for his country’s men. Parirenyatwa has called on local manufacturers to start making condoms so that his nation won’t have to be reliant on imported goods.

Family assaulted by naked man covered in cooking oil
A Pennsylvania man is a facing charges after he reportedly assaulted his family while under the influence of LSD and then resisted arrest while naked and covered in cooking oil. Lonnie Beatty, 19, was subdued by police using stun guns and taken into custody.
