Corpse smuggler caught with bones of 50 people

Indian police have opened an investigation into a corpse smuggling gang, after a man was caught on a train with the skulls and bones of more than 50 people. The arrested man, identified as Sanjay Prasad, said the bones were to be smuggled to Bhutan via China, where “tantrics and occultists” use them in their ceremonies.
Chinese people betting thousands on illegal cricket fights
Authorities in China have reported a surge in illegal cricket fights, where owners of the insects bet on whose cricket will win a fight to the death. According to local reports, a recent tournament saw 300 people betting almost £110,000 in one day.

A Scottish couple has had to forego their holiday travel, after a 70-year-old grandfather accidentally ticked a box on a visa form for the United States that branded himself as a terrorist. The couple are now trying to figure out how to recoup the £2,000 they spent on airfares and accommodation after the man’s entry visa to the US was rejected.
