Steven Gerrard leads Liverpool players' Yaya Kolo chant – video
Footage has appeared of departing Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard orchestrating his teammates in this season's most infectious chant
Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard's Premier League career came to a grim conclusion on Sunday as Liverpool were trounced 6-1 by Stoke. But he appeared to have shaken off his disappointment by the time the team arrived in Dubai for an end-of-season break, as he was filmed leading his teammates in this season's most infectious football chant.
Having spent much of his final campaign being forced to endure songs about his infamous slip against Chelsea last term, the Liverpool and England captain could be forgiven for wanting to avoid mass-singalongs. However, on the day Liverpool announced the extension of Kolo Toure's contract, Gerrard joined in with a raucous rendition of the now infamous 'Yaya Kolo' chant.
In the video, filmed by an unseen teammate, the talismanic midfielder appears to be celebrating the contract news as he leads the team through the Royal Meridian Hotel in Dubai.

Raheem Sterling is visible in the video joining in the sing-along despite his apparent desire to leave the club this summer.
Fans still smarting from the 6-1 loss to Stoke are unlikely to be too pleased by the scenes. To make matters worse the Daily Mail revealed the players had packed their holiday bags before the game and went straight from the Britannia Stadium to the UAE.
The infectious 'Yaya Kolo' chant has become a firm favourite among football fans this season. First heard when the the Toure brothers Yaya and Kolo were Manchester City players it is now performed up and down the country and, surprisingly, at Premier League Darts events.
The chant uses the tune of 2 Unlimited's 1993 single, No Limit coupled with the simple repetition of the brothers' names.
In October, the centre of Newcastle came to a standstill as members of the general public performed a mass version of the chant. One reveller inadvertantly revealed the secret of its success to the Daily Express. "I'd had a few so I joined in, it's pretty easy to pick up," he said.
