Man City boss Pep Guardiola pleased to be in the trophy hunt
Defending Premier League champions remain in contention for four trophies

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola says he is happy the club is in contention for four trophies despite fixture congestion and injury worries.
Last year’s title winners City are currently second in the Premier League and have also progressed to the Champions League round of 16 and FA Cup fourth round.
Tonight they face Burton Albion in the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-finals, a trophy they also won last season.

Speaking ahead of the clash against Burton (7.45pm, live on Sky Sports), Guardiola said: “If everyone is fit and not injured we can cope with it. The problem is if you have ten injured players, then it’s almost impossible.
“I prefer it [being involved in four competitions], definitely. I like to be in the four competitions as far as possible. When Wigan put us out of the FA Cup last season, I was sad. I take the cups seriously.
“Of course, you need a big squad - without quality you can’t even win one trophy. With the quality and amount of players we have, you can do it because the team is always stable.”
