Quiz of The Week: 22 - 28 January 2020
Have you been paying attention to The Week’s news?
This week’s headlines have been dominated by the rapid spread of the new coronavirus, with Italy reporting 655 cases and 17 deaths as the outbreak sweeps across Europe. As of Friday morning, a total of 48 countries worldwide had reported cases of the Covid-19 disease - including more than a dozen in Europe - with more than 83,000 people infected.
Europe’s populists are blaming the spread of virus on open borders, with far-right leader Marine Le Pen warning the French government not to allow Italian football fans into the country to attend a Champions League fixture against Lyon.
