For the right price, the Lisa Marie and Hound Dog II could be yours.
The private planes owned by Elvis Presley are going to auction as a set, the BBC reports. Both have been on display at Graceland for the last 30 years, and the buyer will have the option to purchase land next to Graceland and open their own exhibit of the planes.
The jets are not operable. The last time the Lisa Marie took flight was to take Priscilla Presley and George Hamilton to the King's funeral. The Lisa Marie, named after Presley's daughter, was purchased in 1975. Presley spent $300,000 to retrofit the Convair 800 jet, adding a bathroom with gold taps, stereo system with 50 speakers, and master suite with full-sized bed and conference room. The Hound Dog II is less opulent, as Presley purchased the Lockheed JetStar in 1975 just for use while the Lisa Marie was being refurbished.
