Listen to 92-year-old Christopher Lee's new metal Christmas carol

Actor Christopher Lee is celebrating the holiday season by releasing a heavy metal Christmas single — and it's not his first one.
In 2013, the 92-year-old's "Jingle Hell" made it to No. 18 on the Billboard charts, E! Online reports. This year's offering, "Darkest Carols, Faithful Sing," is a rendition of "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing." "It's light-hearted, joyful, and fun," he said. "It's a band singing on how metal should be played, the effect is has on the band and its listeners."
The Lord of the Rings star is embracing his inner rocker because "at my age, the most important thing for me is to keep active by doing things that I truly enjoy," he said. "I do not know how long I am going to be around, so every day is a celebration and I want to share it with my fans." Listen to a few of his Christmas-gone-metal songs below. --Catherine Garcia
