Following an investigation by Breitbart into her story of sexual assault at Oberlin College by a mustachioed Republican named Barry, Lena Dunham's publisher has announced its decision to alter her book, Not That Kind of Girl, to state that "Barry" is not the alleged rapist's real name.
Dunham, who describes herself as an "unreliable narrator," provided enough detail in her account for inquiring minds to identify a conservative named Barry who attended Oberlin at the same time she did. The Random House decision comes after Barry, who says he never met Dunham and in many ways does not fit her description of the man in the assault story, threatened legal action.
