Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) is already using the GOP's midterm wave to try and undercut a potential rival for the White House in 2016: Hillary Clinton.
Appearing on CNN Wednesday morning, Paul claimed the party's big night was "not only a repudiation of the president, but I think really a repudiation of Hillary Clinton."
"She's said to be the front-runner for the nomination for their party," he added. "So really elections are about who the leadership is in a party, and it's about either accepting or rejecting those leaders. And frankly, I think that yesterday was a repudiation of Hillary Clinton."
Paul also took to Facebook Tuesday night to brand failed Democratic candidates as "#HillarysLosers."
