The streets of Madrid were filled on Sunday with 2,000 sheep and several shepherds, coming together to bring attention to migration rights that are being threatened by urban sprawl. The protest made its way past the Bank of Spain headquarters, Puerta del Sol, and Retiro Park. Shepherds have been able to use some herding routes in Madrid for more than 800 years, and are worried that their way of life could come to an end due to modern agriculture procedures. --Catherine Garcia
