Jacksonville Jaguars apologize for taunting opponent with Ebola joke
The Jacksonville Jaguars have apologized after their mascot on Sunday taunted the visiting Pittsburgh Steelers with a joke about Ebola.
During the game, Jaguars mascot Jaxson de Ville brandished one of the Steelers' iconic Terrible Towels in one hand and a sign that read "Towels carry Ebola" in the other.
The team on Monday said it was "unaware of this inappropriate sign" until Jaxson displayed it on the field.
