A youth soccer league in Ohio banned cheering on the sidelines to keep overzealous parents in check. The Thunder United Metro Futbol Club's "silent soccer'' program forbids parents from shouting, screaming, or making verbal comments of any kind. "It's hard to go to a sporting event and not yell," complained grandparent Jim Speers.
