Ray Lewis on Ray Rice: 'Some things you can cover up, and then there's some things you can't'
Ray Lewis fumbled in jaw-dropping fashion on Sunday while discussing Ray Rice, his former teammate with the Baltimore Ravens.
"There's some things you can cover up," he said, "and there's some things you cant."
Lewis was addressing an ESPN report that argues the Ravens and the NFL tried to cover up Rice's domestic abuse arrest. Of course, Lewis himself is no stranger to legal issues and allegations of attempted coverups: He was indicted for murder in 2000, though the charge was dismissed when he agreed to testify against two other men and plead guilty to obstruction of justice.
