Hollywood actors spend much of their time appearing in movies, but that doesn't mean they're immune to the effects of a good tearjerker. In a series of interviews, Vanity Fair asked Hollywood's top actors — including Tom Hardy, Keira Knightley, Reese Witherspoon, and Steve Carrell — about the last time they cried while watching a movie.

The range of answers is impressively varied, including established tearjerkers like Titanic and The Notebook alongside with more offbeat choices like Maleficent and The LEGO Movie.
