Beatles songs may sound a little too happy to be obvious cover material for The Cure, but a bunch of artists have put together a tribute album to Sir Paul McCartney, and Robert Smith & Co.'s version of "Hello Goodbye" is the first video released from the project. If those eyes on the keyboardist look unforgettably familiar, yes, its McCartney's son, James McCartney, sitting in. The Art of McCartney comes out Nov 18, with other covers from Smokey Robinson, Yusuf (Cat Stevens), Willie Nelson, Roger Daltrey, Bob Dylan, Kiss, and many others — so maybe The Cure isn't such an outlier, after all.
