Gallup reports that President Obama's approval rating has sunk to 38 percent, tying the all-time low for the administration.
Obama has hit the 38 percent approval-rating mark 7 times during his presidency. October 2011 was the last time his approval rating was this low, a time when unemployment was at 9 percent. Just last December, 50 percent of Americans approved of his work.
Gallup also reported that "Americans are more than twice as likely to say they 'strongly disapprove' (39 percent) of President Barack Obama's job performance as they are to say they 'strongly approve' (17 percent). The percentage of Americans who 'strongly disapprove' of Obama has increased over time, while the percentage who 'strongly approve' has dropped by almost half."
