DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz: Obama has issued fewer executive orders 'than any president since Grover Cleveland'

In an interview with MSNBC on Wednesday, Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz criticized Republicans' efforts to sue President Obama.

Wasserman Schultz said that the GOP is attempting to sue Obama "for doing his job, and doing his job actually less often and at a rate that is lower than any other president since Grover Cleveland," referring to the number of executive orders he's issued, as compared with other presidents in recent years.

Republican media outlets, though, were quick to jump on Wasserman's statement as a criticism of Obama. The Daily Caller claimed Wasserman's statement was a reference to Obama's (lack of) "work ethic," while Hot Air called it a "clear condemnation of Obama."
