Bachelor party en route to Kentucky Derby discovers dead body in rented RV

Worst. Bachelor party. Ever.
A group of men thought renting a recreational vehicle and roadtripping from the Twin Cities to the Kentucky Derby would be a great way to celebrate groom-to-be Dan Trainor's upcoming nuptials (and credit to the planners, because in theory that does sound pretty awesome).
The celebrants did not even make it out of Minnesota, though, before they noticed a "hint of death," reported the Star Tribune. The RV's owner had apparently cautioned some of the men against opening two exterior compartments, but as the traveling party stopped to pick up the last celebrants, one who had not received the message opened the door and spotted a body. Feet bare, the body "didn't look fresh. Let's put it that way," Jake Wanek told the Tribune.

The group called police, who initially questioned the men, but "in the first couple of minutes, they realized we had nothing to do with it," Trainor said.
Without an RV, the men said they planned to visit Canterbury Park, a horse-racing location in Minnesota, and watch the Derby there. Canterbury officials said they intended to give the guys special treatment and make it "the next best thing to being at Churchill."
