Several Disneyland employees have been diagnosed with measles, including two who had been vaccinated.
A measles outbreak has been traced to people who visited the theme park between Dec. 17 and 20, and there are now 53 total cases, the Los Angeles Times reports. The disease has spread across California, three states, and Mexico, after infecting people inside of Disneyland who then left and spread it in the broader community. In Orange County, for example, Huntington Beach High School students without proof of vaccination are being told to leave school until the outbreak is over; so far, about two dozen students have been sent home until Jan. 29.
