The New York Post reports that someone has already offered $7 million to purchase Saddam Hussein's death rope, but that Iraq's ex-Prime Minister Mowaffak Al-Rubaie, who is selling the item, wants more than that.
According to the Post, "local law states that if the item is sold, the money must go to the state's treasury."
