Alabama minister arrested after offering to perform same-sex marriage

A minister in Autauga County, Alabama, was charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct on Tuesday after she offered to perform a same-sex marriage.
Anne Susan Diprizio was arrested after refusing to leave the office of an Autauga County probate judge. She offered to perform an in-office marriage ceremony for a couple who had received a marriage license from the probate office.
Deputies apparently asked Diprizio to leave the office, and she was arrested when she refused. After her arrest, Diprizio was processed in the Autauga Metro Jail and held on a $1,000 bond.
