Jon Stewart calls out Fox News for lamenting that Obama's not a 'powerful Muslim king'

Why does Fox News now want Obama to be a 'powerful Muslim king'?

The conservatives on Fox News have a new crush: King Abdullah II of Jordan. On Tuesday night's Daily Show, Jon Stewart asked why the right is griping, "Why can't Obama be more like this powerful Muslim King?" And that's weird, Stewart added (in case you didn't see where this was going), because "that's also been their biggest complaint about Obama." (Roll clips of Fox calling Obama a powerful Muslim dictator.)

Stewart then went back and looked at other strongmen — Muslim and otherwise — that Republicans and Fox personalities have lamented that Obama does not match up to. The irony, Stewart said, is that if Obama were anything like King Abdullah, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, or Russia's Vladimir Putin, "the first place he'd shut down" is... Fox News.
