New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony will miss the remainder of the season to have surgery on his left knee, the team announced Wednesday. The procedure, a left knee patella tendon debridement, should sideline Anthony for four to six months.
The All-Star and franchise cornerstone was one of the few bright spots in a woeful season for the Knicks. Though Anthony continued to put up elite numbers on par with his career stats, as of Wednesday the Knicks had the worst record in the NBA.
