One person knew months ago that Julianne Moore would take home the Best Actress Academy Award for her turn in Still Alice: Her husband, Bart Freundlich.

"He was the first person to see the movie," Moore said backstage after her big win. "He went to watch it with me. When we walked out of there, he said, 'You're going to win an Oscar.' I couldn't believe he said that." Moore also said she was proud of Still Alice for being genuine. "I believe in hard work," she said. "And I like stories about real people and real relationships and real families and that's what I respond to. This movie had all those things in it."
