It's been 18 years since the Notorious B.I.G. was gunned down, and two New York chefs are marking the occasion by serving a special six-course dinner inspired by some of the rapper's favorite meals.

All'onda’s Chris Jaeckle and Talde's Dale Talde worked together on the menu, taking into consideration some of Biggie's lyrics, the New York Post reports. The first course, "spiced tomato soup," comes from the line "V8 juice drinkin', Slimfast blendin'," and "cracked pepper jerk crab and lobster toast" takes its cue from "country house, tennis courts, and horseback ridin', decidin': cracked crab or lobster?" A lyric from one of his most famous songs, "Hypnotize," inspired the third course of "butter poached escargot" ("escargot, my car go 160 swiftly, wreck it buy a new one, your crew run run your crew run run").
