The world's oldest living cat celebrates 27th birthday with liver mousse and champagne

While she is probably still too young to remember the '80s, Tiffany Two, an orange and black tortoiseshell cat, has still lived longer than many millennials.
The feline, who holds the Guinness World Record for the world's oldest living cat, turns 27 today — that's equivalent to 125 human years.
Tiffany Two's owner, Sharron Voorhees, bought the cat from a pet store that was going out of business in 1988. She named her Tiffany Two in honor of a tortoiseshell cat she owned in the '70s who looked similar. The two have been inseparable ever since.

"We take our blood pressure medications every day together. She’s probably in better shape than I am," Voorhees, 73, told TIME. In honor of Tiffany Two's big day, Voorhees is throwing a party featuring cupcakes with fish decorations, liver mousse, and champagne (only for the human guests, of course).
While Voorhees says she doesn't know the secret to Tiffany Two's longevity, she's grateful that her cat is still kickin'. And if Tiffany Two wants to beat the record for the oldest cat ever, she's got plenty more years to go: A cat from Texas named Creme Puff still holds that record for living an incredible 38 years.
