The 1980s heavy metal band best-known for their glamorously big hair and their angsty, rebellious anthems, “We’re Not Gonna Take It” and “I Wanna Rock,” lost one of their own Friday.

Pero reportedly died of an apparent heart attack while touring with the band Adrenaline Mob. When members of the group weren’t able to rouse him Friday morning, he was taken to a hospital in Poughkeepsie, New York, where he died. He was 55.
