The negotiators on the Iran nuclear deal have their work cut out for them before the June 30 deadline for a final accord: On Thursday, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said there will be no deal without an immediate lifting of all nuclear-related sanctions — something the U.S. and some European parties to the seven-nation talks have flatly ruled out.

"We will not sign any deal unless all sanctions are lifted on the same day," Rouhani said on Iranian TV, Reuters reports. "We want a win-win deal for all parties involved in the nuclear talks." The U.S. says that sanctions have to be phased out as Iran demonstrably complies with the terms of the deal.
