Guam recognizes same-sex marriage
Guam's chief federal judge struck down the ban on same-sex marriages Friday in the first ruling of its kind for a U.S. territory, the Pacific Daily News reports. Chief Judge Frances Tydingco-Gatewood ruled restrictions on marriage to opposite-sex couples unconstitutional, citing a previous decision from a circuit court that has jurisdiction over Guam.
