An email reportedly seen by The Telegraph suggests that FIFA president Sepp Blatter was personally involved in accepting a bribe from South Africa to host the 2010 World Cup.

The 2007 email, allegedly sent to Blatter by FIFA Secretary General Jerome Valcke, reportedly says, "I have never received confirmation, but more important, I would like to know when the transfer can be done." The email references an earlier conversation between Blatter and former South African president Thabo Mbeki about FIFA accepting $10 million from South Africa.
