Trump snags second place in latest 2016 GOP poll

America is apparently starting to seriously consider the self-declared "greatest jobs president God ever created." Donald Trump — real estate mogul, reality show personality, and lover of all things gold — has taken second place in the 2016 Republican presidential primary, a new poll by Fox News shows.
Trump garnered 11 percent of registered voters, almost triple his standing from the last Fox poll three weeks ago, before he officially announced he was running. He lags only former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, who came in at 15 percent in the poll.
Ben Carson came in third with 10 percent, and Scott Walker fell from his first-place tie in the last poll down to a fourth-place tie with Rand Paul with 9 percent. Marco Rubio had 8 percent, followed by Mike Huckabee with 6 percent, Ted Cruz with 4 percent, and Carly Fiorina and Rick Santorum with 3 percent. The margin of error was plus or minus 5 percent.
