It's the thought that counts, right? Thom Feeney, a British citizen, thought he could lend Greece a hand by setting up a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo to raise the $1.8 billion needed for the nation to shake its debt crisis. Unfortunately, of the 503 million members of the European Union Feeney had hoped would chip in, only 30 at the time of publication had bothered to donate, raising a mere €712 of the €1,600,000,000 owed. But there's still hope! Eight days remain on Feeney's campaign — and hey, if you cover the whole €1,600,000,000, Feeney will find you an island.
