United Airlines grounds planes nationwide following computer malfunction

Misery loves company, and misery sure has a lot of company this morning, with United Airlines grounding all its U.S. flights due to "automation issues." (Basically, their computer system isn't working.) The FAA expects the nationwide grounding will last until at least 10:15 a.m. ET. In the meantime, many sad, stranded passengers have taken to Twitter to document their personal apocalypses:
