"Cursive writing is one of several things being dropped from curriculums of schools around the country," says the narrator of this Wall Street Journal video, but it isn't the only thing adults were taught in grade school that kids today will likely never learn. Some of the dropped subjects, gleaned from a MarketWatch article by Catey Hill, make sense, like the Dewey Decimal System (sorry, librarians). Others, like typing and personal finance, seem a little harder to justify. And dodgeball fans? Well, you can't pelt the system with red rubber balls.
