Despite the fact that Donald Trump has defied all odds by climbing to the top of Republican presidential polls, according to bettors with Britain's largest bookmaker William Hill, the odds of him actually winning it all still aren't in his favor.
The overseas bettors wager that Trump's odds of winning are 14 to 1. While those odds are far better than where they started (150-1), they still aren't so great in comparison to other candidates'. Even Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders is ahead of Trump in the betting, with odds of 12-1. Jeb Bush's odds are 7-2, Marco Rubio's are 7-1, and Scott Walker's odds are 10-1. Hillary Clinton, meanwhile, is the favorite, with even odds.
However, even overseas, Trump has found himself a big fan. William Hill reports that it has collected 17 wagers from a Cornishman, who is betting Trump will at least win the Republican nomination. Thus far, he has bet a total of $3,387 on Trump.
