Lindsey Graham says he might vote for Trump — but he'd have to hold his nose
GOP presidential candidate Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) says he would consider voting for fellow Republican Donald Trump if he won the nomination — he'd just hold his nose while he did it. "I would vote for the nominee, if it was Donald, I'd hold my nose and vote," Graham said on MSNBC's Morning Joe on Friday, in response to the question of whether he could vote for Trump. He went on to point out that even though he'd vote for Trump if he ended up being the Republican nominee, "Hillary Clinton would beat him like a drum."
Graham's contempt for Trump isn't exactly surprising after The Donald gave the senator's cell phone number out to the public just a few weeks ago during a speech in South Carolina. But in Graham's Friday interview with Morning Joe, he made it clear just how unelectable he thinks Trump is. "Sixty percent of the people say they wouldn't vote for him under any circumstance," Graham said. "Yeah, that's a great guy to pick."
