Lovable wombat bachelor turns 30, joins Tinder

"Relationships are a bit complex when you're a wombat," Julia Leonard, the owner of Australia's Ballarat Wildlife Park, lamented to ABC News. But Leonard had an idea to help her furry friend out: She signed him up for Tinder.
Patrick — or Pat, as he goes by on the hook-up app — turns 30 today and is the oldest known wombat to be alive in captivity. That said, male wombats have to be "very aggressive towards the female, and Patrick just isn't a very aggressive wombat," Leonard explained. "So he chooses to be single."
No news on whether Patrick has found a bucktoothed sweetheart on Tinder yet, but he seems pretty content with the Wombachelor life: After all, he did get a pretty sweet wheelbarrow for his birthday. Jeva Lange
