DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz just made a 'gut-wrenching' decision to endorse the Iran deal
Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz announced her support for the controversial nuclear agreement with Iran in an emotional interview Sunday with Jake Tapper on CNN's State of the Union.
President Obama already has enough votes backing the deal, but the endorsement from the prominent Jewish representative is important symbolically, as other prominent Democratic legislators and Jewish leaders have voiced opposition.
"There's nothing more important to me as a Jew than to ensure that Israel's existence is there throughout the generations," the Florida legislator said. "There is no way that we would be able to ensure that better than approving this deal."
