The Rock valiantly dove into his pool fully clothed to save his drowning dog. Then he took an adorable photo.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has long cultivated an Instagram collection of charming feel-good stories. There's that time he hit a truck and the owner, a fan, was thrilled about it. Oh, and the time he posed for a picture with a teary-eyed cancer survivor. But with his post Monday, the wrestling phenom just might have outdone himself.
It all started when The Rock tried to potty-train his two French bulldogs in the backyard, he wrote. But once outside, they both ran straight into the deep-end of his pool. It was a rough way to find out Brutus doesn't know how to doggie paddle.
"I take off into a full sprint, fully clothed, dive in the pool, swim to the bottom, rescue my brick, I mean BRUTUS and bring him back to the edge of the pool," the actor wrote. "He was a little delirious."

After throwing up water, a healthy Brutus ran off to play with his brother, Hobbs. Unfortunately, The Rock's drenched cell phone didn't fare quite as well.
