The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) called for GOP presidential candidate Ben Carson to drop out of the presidential race following the retired neurosurgeon's comments that a Muslim shouldn't be president.

"We ask Mr. Ben Carson to withdraw from the presidential race because he is unfit to lead and because his views are inconsistent with the United States Constitution," CAIR's executive director, Nihad Awad, said. CAIR will additionally provide all 2016 presidential candidates with copies of the Koran.
