Shoppers at a Target in San Jose, California, briefly wondered if they'd accidentally wandered into the Hustler Store on Wednesday, when audio from a pornographic film was played over the PA system.

On the Campbell Mom Squad Facebook page, several people reported being in the store when the audio — featuring "sexual noises" and "sexual stuff" — came on, and said it lasted for 15 minutes. A person posting as the page's moderator said "there were seriously kids crying everywhere and not many employees willing to do anything other than laugh at it all." Another person posted a 30-second video she said she shot while in the frozen foods aisle, and said when it happened she was "shaking and so upset."

Target spokeswoman Molly Snyder told the San Jose Mercury News the company is "actively reviewing the situation with the team to better understand what happened and to help ensure this doesn't happen again. Because this is an active investigation, I'm unable to share additional details, but we want our guests to know that we take this very seriously." This isn't the first time X-rated sounds emanated from a Target PA system: In July, San Luis Obispo police were called to a Target store over reports that audio from a porn movie was playing over the loudspeakers, the San Luis Obispo Tribune reports.
