Ira Glass "auditions" for Stephen Colbert's Late Show

Public radio icon Ira Glass is no Don Pardo or Ed McMahon, but he is certainly comfortable behind a microphone. So to promote his (imaginary) appearance on the Late Show, Glass sat down to "audition" to be Stephen Colbert's announcer, and it was classic Ira Glass. "Tonight's show, Act 1: Comedy," he said, This American Life background music kicking in. "Act 2: Trump, more hair than man." By the time he gets to introducing Colbert, you're not exactly fired up. But Colbert brings his own manic energy to Late Show, so maybe this could work? Judge for yourself below. Peter Weber
