Tuesday's Republican debate on Fox Business was the least-watched of this year's four GOP debates, and in case you weren't one of the 13.5 million viewers who tuned in, Seth Meyers provided a much shorter wrap-up on Wednesday's Late Night. After the previous, widely criticized debate hosted by CNBC, "the moderators' goal this time was essentially to be as boring as possible," Meyers said, "and on that front, they totally succeeded." Still, he and his staff found enough material to highlight, fact-check, and laugh at to fill about five minutes of late-night comedy. And Meyers wasn't just shooting spitballs: He also had some constructive ideas to make the next debate less boring, one he borrowed from a Japanese sitcom. Watch below. Peter Weber
