Adele's 25, which will be out in fewer than 24 hours, is expected to have the bestselling week of any album since 'N Sync's No Strings Attached sold 2.4 million copies in just seven days during the height of the CD era. But if Spotify or Apple Music is your preferred way of listening to music, you better brace yourself: Adele is not going to put the album on any major streaming services, The New York Times reports.

Adele's decision comes about a year after Taylor Swift did a high-profile yank of her music from Spotify, citing complaints about royalties. Keeping 25 off of streaming services could help tip it over No Strings Attached's record, to an anticipated 2.5 million copies sold in seven days. "Hello," the first single, sold 1.1 million copies in a week and its music video has been watched more than 400 million times.
