In 1978, someone had the idea to make a Star Wars Holiday Special, in which Han Solo and Chewbacca return to Chewbacca's home world of Kashyyyk to visit his family for "Life Day." On Kashyyyk, Han and Chewie meet Chewbacca's family, which consists of father Itchy, mother Malla, and son Lumpy. Among other things, the Star Wars Holiday Special is known for being really, really bad.

While George Lucas did not really have much to do with the making of the special (and reportedly said that if he had the time and a sledgehammer he would "track down every copy of that show and smash it"), there is at least one particularly interesting revelation that remains relevant today: The Star Wars theme song has words. And the song is apparently called "Happy Life Day."
