Tensions between Saudi Arabia and Iran continued to rise on Thursday as Tehran accused Riyadh of conducting an air strike on Iran's embassy in Yemen. According to Iran, a number of guards were hurt in the attack. A spokesperson for the Saudi Arabia-led coalition in Yemen said Iran's claims were being investigated, and that heavy air strikes in the region had targeted Houthi missile launchers.

Saudi Arabia, a Sunni country, has been fighting against the Shiite Houthi in Yemen's brutal civil war. Iran, a Shiite country, has been accused by Saudi Arabia of backing the Houthis.
