Stephen Colbert sizes up Marco Rubio as the GOP's Trump-killer, laughs out loud

In Tuesday's Nevada Republican caucus, "the people in Vegas did what they do best: They pulled the lever and risked absolutely everything," Stephen Colbert said in Wednesday night's Late Show "Road to the White House" segment. Donald Trump's huge win means that he's the likely GOP nominee and very possibly the next president, he added, "and I am not sure if I'm horrified or entertained." Establishment Republicans have finally taken notice, and a group of billionaires is trying to stop Trump with negative ads. "But establishment Republicans aren't just relying on money — they're also relying on Marco Rubio," Colbert said.

Rubio is the first to tell you that he isn't many voters' first choice, Colbert said, providing video evidence. "He's just saying the election's not getting any younger, and America needs to settle. He may not be the president of your dreams, but you'll learn to love him." That could lead in a rom-com direction, but instead Colbert closed it out with a brand new Rubio slogan. Watch below.
